Haunani Chong Drake, E-RYT200 2019 Weekend Intensives (for Immersion & Teacher Training) Immersion: 14hrs/weekend, total 70hrs for continuing education if needed Module 1 S eptember 7-8, 9-4pm: Intro to Yoga & Ayurveda...on and off the mat History, Philosophy, Intro to Ayurveda, Sun Salutations & Savasana Module 2 October 5-6, 9-4pm: Integrated Yoga Anatomy Anatomy, Subtle Body Anatomy, Biomechanics, Nervous System, and Trauma Informed Considerations Module 3 November 2-3, 9-4pm: Mindful Movement, Asana & Pranayama Principles of mindful movement, Sequencing, Warm-up, Standing Postures, and Introduction of Pranayama Module 4 D ecember 7-8, 9-4pm: Asana, Sound, Mudra & Yoga Nidra Introduction to Yoga Nidra, Sound, Mudras, Inversions and Back extensions Module 5 January 11-12, 9-4pm: Asana & Meditation Intro to Meditation, Floor and forward bends, Twists, and Balancing Module 6 February 8-9, 9-4pm - Being a Yoga Teacher (for TT only) Business of Yoga, Leading your final class, written examination, and graduation! 2019 Mid-week Teacher Training Hours (for Teacher Training only) Total Contact Hours: 104 hrs Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30am-1:30pm (4hrs): These mid-week classes are designed to help you discover, embrace, and find more ease as a yoga teacher. We will take what we learned in the intensive weekend modules and go further with the information learning how to teach yoga, how to adapt, modify, and work with individuals and groups. All classes are designed to help you be more prepared as a mindful and trauma-informed teacher of yoga for diverse groups of people.
