Meet Roksana
Roksana is a dedicated yoga teacher passionate about making yoga accessible to the Okinawa community.
She first discovered yoga in her late 20s while searching for relief from chronic back pain. What began as a physical practice soon became a profound inner journey, helping her cultivate mental clarity, resilience, and self-acceptance.
Struggling with low self-esteem and self-destructive patterns, yoga became her path to healing. In March 2015, she completed her first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) at the Power of Now Oasis in Bali under the guidance of Jolie Manza and other experienced teachers. Her thirst for knowledge led her to continue her studies, completing a 300-hour YTT with Caroline Wybar in 2020 and enrolling in a 1000-hour Yoga Therapy Training program.
With over 8000 hours of teaching experience, Roksana has guided students through yoga classes, workshops, and Continuing Education Programs for Yoga Teachers.
Since 2021, she has been training and mentoring new yoga teachers, helping them build both confidence and depth in their teaching.
Roksana is the founder of The Yoga Tree Okinawa, a welcoming space where yoga bridges cultures, inviting students from all backgrounds.
She runs immersive Yoga Teacher Trainings and retreats in Okinawa and rural Japan (Yamaguchi Prefecture), offering transformative experiences that integrate tradition, science, and modern teaching methods.
Her approach emphasizes mindful movement, nervous system regulation, and the deeper philosophy of yoga beyond the physical postures.
She remains committed to learning and evolving alongside her students, believing that the true essence of yoga is found in community, connection, and shared growth.
