The Yoga Tree of Okinawa is a studio space that goes beyond exercise. Our philosophy is that yoga is not only a workout, but a work-in. With mindfulness, meditation and various healing sessions, The Yoga Tree of Okinawa is a place to grow and transform, and to
discover new and forgotten aspects of ourselves.
Whether it be through a sweaty Vinyasa class, relaxing Yoga, deep Yin or healing session, our goal is to assist you in an experience of deep mind-body connection.
Our studio is open and welcoming for everyone, you don't need to consider yourself a yogi to join us.
We hope to become a community space where you can come to refresh; surrounded by living plants in a serene environment with the healing, loving vibes of our instructors.
Please meet Roksana, the founder and owner of The Yoga Tree Okinawa.
"I discovered yoga in my late 20s, as a way to fix my aching back.
My primary focus was on yoga asana. Gradually, I started to realize that yoga was making my body stronger, but what was most surprising, was my mental wellbeing improved tremendously too.
After years of struggle with low self-esteem and self destructive behavior, my yoga and healing inner journey, brought peace and clarity into my life.
In March 2015 I graduated my initial 200YTT in Power of Now Oasis in Bali under
Jolie Manza, and many other skillful teachers.
In 2020 I started my 300YTT with Caroline Wybar as my Teacher and Mentor. After completing my 500YTT I decided to continue my study and pursue on a path toward 1000hrs Yoga Therapy Training.
Since my initial Training I have taught over 5000 hours of yoga classes, Workshops, and offered Continuing Education Programs for Yoga Teachers. In 2021 I led my first 200hrs Yoga Teacher Training.
Currently I focus on managing The Yoga Tree Okinawa, Training new Yoga Teachers, Mentoring for Teachers, and planning future yoga events and offerings.
I consider myself first a student of yoga, and all that I learn I share with my students,
my greatest teachers."
