The Yoga Tree of Okinawa is more than a place to work out — it’s a place to work in.
We believe yoga is not only about movement, but about reconnecting with your body, calming your nervous system, and finding space to breathe in a busy life.
Through mindful yoga, meditation, and gentle healing sessions, we support real people — all ages, all bodies, all experience levels — in building strength, resilience, and inner balance.

We’ll recommend:
• the best class type for your body and experience level
• the right pace (gentle, slow flow, heated, or dynamic)
• how often to practice for your goals
• whether private sessions or group classes may suit you better
Our studio is open and welcoming to everyone.
You don’t need to “be a yogi” to belong here.
We aim to be a community space where you can:
• refresh your body
• calm your mind
• feel supported and seen
• connect with kind, down-to-earth people
You’ll practice in a serene room filled with living plants, guided by instructors who care deeply about safety, inclusivity, and emotional wellbeing.
Many of our students come from the military community, and many are local residents — and we love being a bridge between cultures.
Please meet Roksana, the founder and owner of The Yoga Tree Okinawa.
“I discovered yoga in my late 20s while trying to fix my aching back.
At first, I was only focused on the physical side of yoga. But over time, I realized something unexpected: my body was getting stronger, and my mental wellbeing was transforming too.
After years of struggling with low self-esteem and self-destructive patterns, yoga became a doorway into deeper healing, clarity, and peace.
I completed my first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali in 2015, and later my 300-hour training with Caroline Wybar. Since then, I’ve continued studying yoga therapy and advanced training, always seeing myself first as a student of yoga.
I’ve taught over 8,500 hours of classes and workshops, and I now lead teacher trainings, mentorship programs, and community retreats.
Everything I learn, I share with my students —
who continue to be my greatest teachers.”
